Description:

Software Release Engineer / Configuration Engineer - StarTeam /similar, Java etc. Reading, Berkshire. £30-40k + bonus & bens
Experienced Software Release Engineer / Configuration Engineer required to join this growing Java based development team in Berkshire.
You will need proven skills in software configuration ideally using StarTeam or similar source control system and be used to working closely with Java Developers/technologies across the whole of the software development lifecycle.
Any experience of scripting including ANT, CruiseControl &/or Jython an advantage as is exposure to Java Application Servers eg WebSphere.
This is a varied & challenging role which requires good organisational & prioritisation skills and the ability to work well under pressure so you will have a proven track record of handling a large number of projects/tasks at any one time.

Based on the outskirts of Reading, Berkshire with easy access to railway station; close to M4 for a commute of Newbury, Slough, Basingstoke in Hampshire, Oxford, Didcot in Oxfordshire, Swindon in Wiltshire, Twickenham, Middlesex, Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire etc.
Salary is dependent on experience but likely to be in the region of £30000 to 40000 + up to 10% bonus, up to 13% pension, PHI, flexi hours & more.
