Description:
Dynamic, Fortune 500 level global manufacturer whose brand names are known worldwide has an immediate opening for a Project Manager-High Voltage at a project site in the Plainfield, NJ area. The Project Manager is a high visibility position within a rapidly growing Business Unit in the US. This position's responsibilities include successful completion of high voltage construction projects and installation of high voltage underground cables.

This position is responsible for the scope, schedule, and costing of assigned projects which takes place concurrently. You will analyze input from the field forces and provide recommendations to maintain schedule and maximize profits. The PM is directly responsible for the safety and quality control aspects on every project..

Requirements:
- Associates degree in construction management or at least 8 years of project management experience -…..would like 5+ years in energy related position or civil construction.

-Problem solving experience and other problem identification and resolution tools -…..high voltage construction experience or installation of underground transmission cables would be a plus.

-You should have experience working with construction unions.

- Ability to understand construction contracts and have knowledge of technical construction terminology.

The candidate must be mobile (able to travel North America for projects) with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. The company offers a strong compensation package of a base salary range of $90-100k with Bonus opportunity, Fortune 500 level Benefit and Retirement programs.
