The ideal candidate will:

* Drive acquisition cost reduction in all products/components
* Accepts and analyzes vendor bids and proposals
* Participates in price negotiations
* Coordinates activities with engineering, production, quality and other relevant functions
* Builds solid strategic relationships with suppliers
* Develop new strategic suppliers as required
* Achieve strategic goals and deliverables
* Develop, implement and manage strategic supplier-based projects

The ideal candidate will possess:

* Bachelors Degree
* 4+ years progressive experience in strategic sourcing/procurement
* Strong project management and organizational skills
* Exceptional negotiating skills and experience
* Experience in establishing, communicating and managing Supplier Performance Metrics (cost/timeliness/quality)
* Domestic and international supplier relationship management experience including travel
* Proven ability to drive business results, knowledge/experience with cost saving metrics
