Description:

Job Duties
- Executing and reporting results for carrier specific test plans.
- Using industry standard test tools, specifically Spirent system, 8960 call box to test various test scenarios
- Usage of Qualcomm and Spirent tools for logging and analysis of failure and success testing scenarios
- Preparation and pre-testing of devices for CDG-IOT certification and support of the testing while at the labs
- Use of System knowledge to correlate test plan requirements to CDMA standards to successfully execute carrier test scenarios
Occasional travel to carrier locations for customer support, trouble shooting and also CDG-IOT test labs

Qualifications
- Must be able to interpret and report failures to internal groups for analysis
- Ability to understand CDMA requirements and translate these into test cases/plans for verifications
- Knowledge of IS-95, CDMA2000 and 1XEVDO protocols, with understanding of the standard.
- Failure Analysis via logs and other means to root cause failures in the lab
- Understanding of MIP, Data Retry, Authentication and full knowledge of call flows and messaging
- Comfortable with usage of test systems-Spirent Stack, 8960 call box, Qualcomm logging and PST tools
- RF knowledge in IS-98, IS-866, and IS-866A a plus

Experience
- 2-4 years experience in CDMA testing
