My client are seeking an experienced IT / Telephony Engineer with experience supporting Avaya telephone systems, ideally in use within a call centre environment. If you are keen to focus / further your telephony support skills & experience this is a great opportunity!
This Berkshire based company are offering an enthusiastic, self motivated candidate the opportunity to develop more in depth experience & skills in the support & maintenance of their in house Avaya call centre telephone systems.
You will need some current experience of Avaya telephone systems, preferably in a call centre environment using Avaya Communication Manager or Definity; any knowledge of Windows OS &/or networking eg TCP/IP will be an advantage too.
You will be working alongside other more experienced engineers focussing on both the telephony systems, core networking, Windows & Unix OS, databases etc who will be happy to share their knowledge with you.
You will be able to demonstrate IT support skills inc reactive tasks eg troubleshooting & problem solving as well as project work & maintenance of systems.
You will be a strong communicator with an obvious keenness to learn & to progress your skills, experience & career within the telephony arena.

Salary dependant on experience but likely to be £28,000 to £35,000 dependant on experience plus to 10% bonus, oncall (c£7k), to 13% pension, healthcare, flexi time etc.
Based close to Reading, Berkshire close to M4 & M40 for an easy commute of Slough, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bracknell, Didcot, Oxfordshire, Maidenhead, Middlesex, Woking in Surrey etc.
