Payroll Analyst Consultant – Systems implementation, staff development and training
 Responsible for conversion of the Payroll and Human Resources system from HCA Host to Health Management Systems (HMS). HMS is a complete business software package for hospital administration of patients, nursing, doctors, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, human resources, materials management, lab, pharmacy and radiological data bases. Travel required 100%. Write assessments, gap analysis, implementation design and implementation.
 Extracted payroll master files from HCA Host and imported, tested and go-live on HMS payroll and human resources in 14 different hospital facilities.
 Reconfigured Kronos TKC, Kronos Workforce and Kronos I-Series time clock system.
 Wrote file specification for I-Series Kronos time clock interface for payroll, submitted to Kronos for write and install, tested and go-live. Inbound and outbound interfaces.
 Set up company profile, earnings, deductions, tax, FEIN, SEIN, cafι and benefits plans and crossed referenced between payroll and human resources within HMS.
 Validated tax calculations.
 Trained department managers, supervisors and employees on the HMS payroll system and Kronos time clock system configuration changes.


 Implemented checks and balances to ensure accurate payroll processing, timely submissions eliminating errors. Sox compliance audit.
 Work with Project Director, Project Manager, and all levels of management to define, develop, implement and document process changes and system improvements.
 Customized payroll system to client specifications.
 Identify system issues, report and develop a plan of corrective action. Follow up with Project Manager and MIS/IT to ensure timely resolution of the issue.
 Contributed to the bottom line by dedication to customer service, attention to detail and problem solving skills. Escalating when required.
 20 years of multi-state payroll experience for Federal, State and Local Taxes.
 Multi-frequency payroll processing, weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly and quarterly.
 Experience processing garnishments, tax liens and child support.
 Query, write reports relating to payroll, workman’s compensation, benefit plans, year end census for 401K, EEOC, check reconciliation and other required reports.
 Strong computer skills.
 Year end processes for W-2.
 Strong attention to detail and accounting skills.
 Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills.
