Michelle has a strong arts background starting with music at an early age, designing clothes throughout childhood, and receiving a BA from Ashland University and Art Institute of Pittsburgh affliate program. . As she pursued work in the fashion industry, Michelle found her true passion with interior design. She began her career working alongside experienced interior designers and entrepreneurs in generational family-owned furniture companies and Ethan Allen.
Currently, she is self-employeed as a freelance designer serving the New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia metro area. She hopes to continue growing in every way, she believes when growth stops decay begins. She is always looking for a new adventure utilizing her gifts and talents to the best of her ability. Her greatest strenths are she is very energetic and a multitalented professional with experience in retail, interior design, leadership, and organization. Successfully created a business offering interior design for residential and commercial projects. Work closely with clients to create vision and conceive designs. Establish trusting relationships with clients, designers, and vendors. Create and conduct persuasive sales presentations. Effectively coordinate subcontractors and vendors to meet project requirements. Productively completed client projects up to $500K budget. Measured, planned, and created window treatment designs. Also, during this time teamed up with MJ Interiors, Inc. to develop their window fashions department 2003-2005 and assist business growth.
