For a boutique regional recruiting business provided senior contractors and contingent recruiting services for defense contractors and small businesses in the Washington DC area and southern Virginia.
- Developed clients and managed accounts for multiple large vendors and defense contractors.
- This is included the recruitment, and all aspects of placing senior analysts, financial consultants, engineers, and information technology personnel within these businesses.







EPS - Technology Solutions, Columbia, MD/Virginia Beach, VA Dec 2002 - July 2005
Remote Site Technical Manager / Senior Project Manager
As a senior project manager on the largest information technology contract awarded by the US Government, the Navy-Marine Corps Internet (NMCI), provided technical liaison and expertise in all phases of installation of computer and internet systems for Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
- As Remote Site Technical Manager supervised thirteen technical project managers in operations, installation and coordination of hundreds of on-going Information Technology projects located in five regional areas throughout the continental United States, Hawaii, and Alaska.
- As Senior Project Manager worked daily with Navy and Marine Corps national command staffs, and local command senior staff.
- Reported to and worked directly with EDS management. Provided technical liaison and expertise in all phases of installation of computer and internet systems for EDS.

- Started a senior consulting business unit in the Mid Atlantic for a Fortune 100.

- Started an IT staffing and consulting business.
- Duties include: market development, sales, vendor relationships, senior management liaison with top corporate managers, project management, technical liaison, operational and business control, recruiting, contractual and financial responsibilities, budget and strategy.
- As a Senior Project Manager developed a new line of business working with the CIA/National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA). - Started a software development and specialized IT consulting company.
- Provided project management oversight to an outsourced software product using
SQL/Visual Basic. Set project milestones, coordinated developers and worked the client
for delivery specifications.
- Duties included: sales, business development, maintaining consultant relationships,
recruiting, and vendor relationships.
- Clients included: Office of the Secretary, Dept. of HHS (DC), William M. Mercer,
Inc.(Baltimore/Chicago), Academy For Educational Development (DC), CMG Health,

Senior Project Manager / Senior Engineer
- Within the advanced combat systems group for the US Navy’s attack submarines, assisted
develop strategies, and create solutions for complicated and changing projects to support
the operational submarine fleet.
- As a staff manager provided liaison between the Pentagon/Crystal City and the development
and operational teams in Norfolk for a variety of technical and logistic projects for
submarine combat systems projects.
- Senior Project Manager/Technical Lead on multiple Advanced Sonar System projects.
- Represented NAVSEA for multiple on-site test and evaluation of state-of-the-art submarine
fire control and sonar systems.

Project Manager / Systems Engineer
- Managed and assisted in business development for this DOD contracting business that
provided engineering support for the US Navy’s Surface Ship Fleet.
